Choose one: A Masterpiece or A Counterfeit?

Important points on being God’s Masterpiece

• A masterpiece is God’s best work, His master work.
• You are God’s Masterpiece because God said so. Ephesians 2:10; For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
• God made you a masterpiece since the creation of the world, long before you came into this world. You are already a masterpiece. Though after creation, man sinned and problem ensued, but God created us anew in Christ Jesus, now we are free to do the good works God planned for us before the disconnection.
• The shape a piece takes depends on the master and the submission of the piece to the master. In the real sense, a piece as no control of its own in the hands of a master. Imagine a clay pot in the hands of a potter, the clay becomes what the potter forms. In other words, as long as the clay is in the hands of the potter who has the finished product in mind, the clay pot’s destiny is established.
• A master creation will take time and process, you are in the making my friend.
• A piece in the process of being made into a masterpiece may be in an impure state. But with constant work of the Master, the piece progressively becomes pure. The master makes the piece pure, the piece in itself as no power. All that is required of the piece is submission.
• A masterpiece is made. The master will work with you until you become His original made. If you don’t work with the master, you will end up a counterfeit.
• You are a masterpiece not because of your goodness but because God made you so. You must view yourself from God’s perspective not the worlds’ or yours.
• The fact that you are currently in an impure state and you need cleansing does not mean you are not His Masterpiece. Being a masterpiece does not mean there are no flaws.
• If you err, or you strayed, the Master knows how to put you back together again.
• Whenever you are in doubt of who you are, remember that you are His masterpiece!

God is ready to begin His master work; He wants to showcase you to the world as His handiwork, a masterpiece. Are you ready?

How can you begin this journey with the Master builder?

Give your life to Him. Then walk with Him daily, take a step at a time. Spend time with Him in the word, songs, prayers, in the fellowship of Christian folks. Serve Him. Hand over your life affairs to Him and don’t pick it back up. From here, whatever He tells you to do, you must do. You asked, how will I know what He’s telling me to do? The more you talk to Him, the more you can identify His voice. Worry about talking to Him regularly than how to hear Him. Because you are His child, you will hear Him.
