Lesson 15: Powered By God
Welcome to the last lesson in this section. Congratulations to you for making it this far! Please share your growth experience with us. We want to know how we can serve you better as well. Feel free to complete the lessons in our second section. This section was developed for long-time Christians who are facing challenges in their walk with God or have questions on their mind to which they need answers. This last lesson is crucial for you. Let it serve as a reminder that no matter where you go or where you are, you only have one source of POWER and that is God. Every other power will fail. Battery power does run out, human powers do fail (I have experienced this so many times), but when you are powered by God, you will never run down. Beware that as you continue your daily living, the world will try to sell other power sources to you. Refuse them and stay put with God. Let’s dive deeper:
What is the definition of “powered by?” To be powered by something is to be supplied with power.
We all need lots of power to make it through life. There are different types of power: manpower, satanic powers, machine power… Everyone on this planet earth is sourced by one power or another. Is our power weak or strong? This means we determine our existence and importance from that source of power, right?
Your source of power must be stronger and higher than you in order for you to really be powered by it. So, is your source of power higher and mightier than you are?
If you tell me that education, fame, or money is your source of strength, I will be quick to tell you that you don’t know who you are.
Your source of power must be greater than you! This is because once your source dies, you die too. Once your source of strength fizzles out, you do too. If you don’t ever want to be out of power, you should be powered by God. The devil is always looking for those powerless times to strike; don’t be without power.
For the temporal things to become relevant, they must be powered by an eternal source.
Do you think you are powerful? Are you powerful enough to direct your life in your own strength? What are you powered by? What gets you high-spirited? Think about it. For how long do you think your source of power will last? Will it go on for eternity? If it wouldn’t, you might want to search for another source of power. If you ask me, I can tell you that there’s only one source of power and vitality in the whole wide world that is eternal! And that is God! Never make any decision without God. Make God your all in all (Acts 17:28).
